MEET SWEDISH STARTUPS TAKING THEIR INNOVATIONS TO CANADA

Join in on the Scandinavian Startup Week 2021 – a digital gathering of emerging innovations, driven entrepreneurs, Canadian market opportunities, experienced specialists in market segments, investors, supporting people and partnering organizations. 

Scandinavian Startup Week is an initiative to introduce Scandinavian startups to international markets. The 27th and the 29th of September we invite you to participate and connect with startups ready to explore the Canadian market. The startups represent four Swedish business accelerators – BizMaker, Företagsfabriken, Kalmar Science Park and Movexum.

PROGRAM:

DAY 1 - Let’s get down to business
September 27th (10.00 AM – 02.00 PM MDT)

We are starting the week with digital kick off together with keynote speakers from Canada and Sweden sharing their view on opportunities for increased cooperation. Get to know this year's participating startups and hear them pitch their business ideas. You will also be presented with more information on the initiative Scandinavian Startup Week and why we are aiming for Canada. 

This day ends with a digital networking session through the platform Wonder for direct contact with the startups and the other participants.


DAY 3 - Canadian capital and Swedish innovation: Is there a match?
September 29th (10.00 AM – 02.00 PM MDT)

Are you interested in connecting with and invest in Swedish startups? This is the day for you. Here you will have the opportunity to meet with the startups that are ready to initiate capital discussions and are looking for Canadian investors and partners. We will also present some "good to know"- basics when partnering up across the Atlantic. 

This day ends with a digital networking session through the platform Wonder were you can approach and talk to the entrepreneurs individually.
